Difficulty level: Medium

WARNING: You have to know basic sewing skills to be able to define the legs from the body!

Terminology US: MR: Magic Ring sc: Single crochet inc: Increase (to do 2 sc in the same stitch) dec: Decrease (to close two stitches together to become one) sl st: Slip stitch
Materiais: – 3,0mm hook
– Pink yarn and light brown yarn
– Polyester filling
– Buttons for the eyes
– Glue
– Tapestry needle to sew the parts together

Head: Skin Tone

1. MR 6sc (6)

2. 1inc in every sc from round 1 (12)

3. 1sc, 1 inc – 6x (18)

4. 2sc, 1 inc – 6x (24)

5. 3sc, 1inc – 6x (30)

6. 4sc, 1 inc – 6x (36)

Now, let’s make 7 rounds with 36 stitches in each one:

7-13. 36sc

Now, let’s start decreasing it until we have 18 stitches, so we can stuff it:

14. 4sc, 1dec – 6x (30)

15. 3sc, 1dec – 6x (24)

16. 2 sc, 1dec – 6x (18)

17. 18sc

Let’s stuff it.

Body: Switch to Shirt Yarn

We’ll increase it again.

18. 2sc, 1 inc – 6x (24)

19. 3sc, 1inc – 6x (30)

20. 4sc, 1 inc – 6x (36)

21. 5sc, 1 inc – 6x (42)

Change to the skirt color!

Now we’ll make 10 rounds with 42sc in each.

22-31. 42sc

Stuff it.

To close it, we’ll make a big “lid”, starting like this:

1. MR 6sc (6)

2. 1inc in every sc from round 1 (12)

3. 1sc, 1 inc – 6x (18)

4. 2sc, 1 inc – 6x (24)

5. 3sc, 1inc – 6x (30)

6. 4sc, 1 inc – 6x (36)

7. 5sc, 1 inc – 6x (42)

Now sew it the doll, so it will stand up on its own and the stuffing will remain inside.
